The Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) statement layout
These notes come from real Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU) statements our reader has been tested against, not from a template guess:
- One combined statement covers checking, share savings and a credit line for the member.
- Transactions print with Deposit and Withdrawal columns side by side, plus a Balance column.
- Mortgage statements use a separate layout with an Explanation of Amount Due and a past-payments breakdown.
How to download a PDF statement from Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union (MSGCU)
- Log in to MSGCU Online or Mobile Banking.
- Open the Accounts menu and select eStatements (the first time, complete your user profile and follow the enrolment prompts).
- Open the statement for the month you need and save it as a PDF.
Steps summarised from MSGCU's own statement pages at msgcu.org.
Once you have the PDF, drop it into the converter — you can check the result before you pay for anything, and the first 10 pages each month are free.
What to check after converting
- The result is marked Reconciled — the rows reproduce the closing balance exactly. If a difference is shown instead, our guide to why a statement does not balance walks through the usual causes.
- On a combined statement, check the balance chain inside one account's section at a time — a break belongs to that account only.
- Deposit/Withdrawal dual columns are the friendly case: a missing row shows up at once in the running balance.
- Spot-check two or three rows against the PDF, especially around page breaks. Our guide on how to check a conversion shows a two-minute routine.
